Sung Eun Kim received the Best Poster Presentation Award at the 2017 International Conference of the Korean Society for Molecular and Cellular Biology held in September. Sung Eun is the first year Ph.D student. Her research focuses on the epigenetic regulation of Hedgehog signaling and its effect on the development of aggressive subtype of bladder cancer called basal urothelial carcinoma which is associated with poor patient survival.
